Prague Science Film Fest

Popular science documentaries, lectures, discussions and a festival atmosphere. Come and experience the Prague Science Film Fest with us again on the Czech University of Life Sciences campus in Prague! We will meet from 14 to 17 October 2024.

We will explore the natural history film genre and its transformations. Wildlife documentaries capturing fauna and flora keep up with the times like few other genres! They use the most modern technologies and are no longer just an exhibition of bird dances and insect mimicry but encourage thinking about the environment and its protection. The international festival of popular science films will offer visitors the best scientific documentaries from various corners of the world and welcome guests from the field of science and film from the Czech Republic and abroad. Everyone will be free to watch the film and accompanying program. The best films will take home a prize from the festival; we are again awarding the Grand Prize with our partner festival, AFO.
